heyho fourthree, siti here. just wanna post something that ms lim send me thru email. she asked me to post it up here on her behalf. so here it goes....
My dearest 4/3,
I’m sure that everyone was euphoric yesterday. At least I was =)
I would like to congratulate EACH AND EVERYONE of us for such a great achievement!
I know it wasn’t easy. For the past few weeks, we cracked our brains for ideas, we cajoled, encouraged and shouted at (at least I did =P) one another. There were tempers and headaches, but also joy and laughter. (with all the boys’ silly antics)
I would first like to thank my trusty Three Musketeers – Haikal, Darren and Siti, who were supporting and pushing through every step of the way.. Especially Siti, whom I bugged and “haunted” day and night to find out how things were =P We started with the designing of the T shirt weeks ago. Lucky we had talented people among our midst – Rahman, Genny, Olivia, Melvin, Felicity, Raywyn, Faiz…who all chipped in their ideas, and kudos to Rahman and Melvin who drew up our final design. I’m not sure if you know, but quite a number of teachers came up to tell me that our T shirt looks great! =)
Then came the CHEER. Things were tough at the beginning. Many of us were eager to contribute ideas – those I’ve mentioned above, and also Pariz, Ghufran (thanks for the “swagger” bit =), Syed and all of us who helped to refine the cheer as we went along. I want to specially thank those who stepped up to help organize the practice of the cheer – Haikal, Siti, Melvin, Syed, Rahman and Faiz. It was not easy and I know it was exhausting but I know you will agree with me that it was worth every bit of sweat =)
Most importantly, the cheer would not have been possible without all of us who made the time to turn up for the practice, especially those who were always on time and who were shouting the cheer with so much gusto and enthusiasm – Marcus, Thaqif (ur name is correct! =P), Shazwan U, Weiquan, Khairul, Syamirul, Yaohui, Waikit, Isaac, and of cos my beautiful ladies who “got the figure” – Ting Yin, Grace, Yan Yuan, Shi Yi (incl those mentioned above) who were always around to help with little details that everyone else overlooked.
Special mention for our two Superheroes mascots – Kar Kheng and Melvin who were game enough to do comical stuff and Tsz Ho who had to run round like crazy to join in both cheers =) And also those who were not well but hung in there through the cheer – Ryan (who was still feverish), Haikal (whose throat was sore), Siti and some others who were pretty worn out..thank u guys, for persevering!
And to those who were not able to join us on that day =( some of u were not well like Yaohui and some, like Pariz, who had his Silat competition (and WON!! Congrats!) and Junhan who had to go for medical checkup à well, we missed u guys and were sorry u were not able to join us. But never mind there’s always next year!
And I was very touched to see EVERYONE take part in the cross country and crossed the finishing line, even though some were not well, like Yaohui, Syazwan S who was having a flu and Darren who had a nasty blister. And of cos, I was so proud of those who managed to get into the top 35 positions – Haikal, Tsz Ho, Rahman, Shazwan, Thaqif, Kar Kheng and Felicity! Well done!
“What we believe is what we will achieve”. This cheering competition and cross country are just one of the many future achievements that 4/3 is capable of. I have faith each and everyone of you will be able to achieve what you have set out for yourself.
WE KNOW YOU KNOW 4/3’S GOT IT! =)
