My mum told me that Singapore had a very very scary fact.
Since last August, the volume of food waste it collects has jumped by at least 20 per cent to between 120 and 130 tonnes per day on average.
130 tonnes = 130 000 kilograms
It's same as the weight of a Crane, 10 SBS Double Decker Buses. You can google it.
Basically it is a huge amount, imagine one day we will be living in a island of rubbish and wastage.
So lets start treasuring every grain of rice! It all starts from yourself!
